Central Electric is an electric distribution cooperative serving more than 24,000 members in seven west-central Pennsylvania counties (Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Clarion, Forest, Mercer, and Venango).  Incorporated July 12, 1937, electric service was first provided August 18, 1938.
